Rockstar Recipes

The recipes you will find in these pages generally follow a few basic principles:

The veggies have to taste good.  Veggies are awesome, not torture.
They will be low fat.  (This isn’t non fat, fat is good for you, lots of fat isn’t)
They will be low in mucus and low in inflammation.
Every once in awhile you may see a recipe with some garlic or onions or a spice blend that includes these.  This is meant to be as a deliberate flavor vs the standard base for all recipes.

These dishes will be missing foods that create mucus or inflammation in the body:

Gluten
Meat/fish
Cheese
Eggs
Nightshades – Tomatoes, Potatoes*, Bell Peppers & Eggplant (except hot house tomatoes which are low alkalinity)
Curry (specifically cumin)
Rice/Barley (wild rice is a pseudograin so it may be ok for you)
Onions and Garlic

*Note:  Sweet Potatoes are part of the morning glory family and are not nightshades

Part of our work together is to reset the palate and train your tastebuds into new subtle levels of flavors.

    Terradon aka Fatima aka Michaela,
I am encouraged ! Just by chance Or hand of God I have come to your site and quite frankly what I have read could be the answer to a lot of my symptoms and pain. It does appear overwhelming right now but slowly implementing the changes in foods and just getting off my rear end could help with my continued distress. Thank you for just being you.
